Many organic items being sent to the landfill (such as leaves and branches, fruits and vegetables, and yard clippings) can instead be composted to make a rich garden soil amendment. Each year, composing diverts significant tons of waste from being sent to the landfill by our community.

Curbside Mixed Compostables Service
Customers with curbside Mixed Compostables Service may place yard debris, along with food waste (fruits and vegetables, meats and bones, and dairy products) into their roll-cart. The materials are taken to a commercial compost facility for processing into compost.
