The Solid Waste District is a cooperative program between the cities of Depoe Bay, Lincoln City, Newport, Siletz, Toledo, Waldport, and Yachats; Dahl Disposal Service; North Lincoln Sanitary Service, Thompson's Sanitary Service; and Lincoln County to provide:
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Compost promotion and education
- Strategic planning, management, and reporting for the Lincoln County Waste Shed
- Coordinated Household Hazardous Waste collection and reduction
- Litter and Illegal dumping program administration
- Sustainability program coordination
