Annual Event
Pursuant to ORS 275, tax foreclosed property must first be offered at a Sheriff's Auction. If not sold at that time, surplus property will be added to the available property list and may be sold by private sale throughout the year.
Our 2021 Auction was held on November 4, 2021. 2022 tax foreclosure auction will likely be held in 2023 due to staffing. We will update with more information as we move closer to that time.
Both the available property list and the Tax Foreclosed Property Auction list are available on this website. (Lincoln County does not maintain a mailing list for the Tax Foreclosed Property Auction.)
The Tax Foreclosed Property Auction list will be posted on this page (see supporting documents below) at the same time that it is published in a local newspaper (4 weeks prior to the scheduled auction date). It is removed after the auction.
