Ambulance Service Review Committee

The Lincoln County Ambulance Service Review Committee (ASRC) meets quarterly; the committee members are appointed by the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners with representation from Fire Districts, Ambulance Service Providers, Hospitals, and the public (2 representatives). 

Committee Overview

The Committee shall have the following powers and duties (LCC 7.840):

  1. Provide a review process for a regular random sampling of ambulance services rendered in Lincoln County by each ambulance service provider.
  2. Provide a forum for review of complaints by consumers and others concerning the quality of ambulance services provided in Lincoln County.
  3. Make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners in accordance with LCC 7.832(1) for revocation or suspension of an ambulance service area assignment, when such recommendation appears appropriate pursuant to LCC 7.832.
  4. Periodically review the Lincoln County Ambulance Service Area Plan and make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners concerning proposed updates and amendments to the plan.
