Lieutenant Jamie Russell began her career with the Sheriff's Office in 1992. During her career Lieutenant Russell has served as a Corrections Technician, Corrections Deputy, and Corrections Sergeant where she received the Oregon State Sheriff's Association "Supervisor of the Year" award. In 2003, she was promoted to her current rank of Corrections Lieutenant and assigned as the Jail Commander. As Jail Commander she oversees the daily operations of the jail division.
Lieutenant Russell received the Oregon State Sheriff's Association "Jail Commander of the Year" award in 2007. She also received the OSSA "President's Special Recognition" award in 2010 and the "Meritorious Service" award in 2012. Lieutenant Russell is a FBI National Academy graduate.
