Notice of Quasi-Judicial Hearing

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., for Case File 02-ZC-PC-22, in the Lincoln County Court House, Board of Commissioners’ Conference Room, Public Entrance, located at 225 W Olive Street, Newport, Oregon. The applicant has requested a zone change from P-F (Public Facilities) to RR-5 (Rural Residential) on two tax lots totaling 55.11 acres. The applicant is Michael Wilson. The subject property is located at 1022 Olalla Road, also described by the Lincoln County Tax Assessor as Map 10-10-32, Tax Lot 1406, and Map 10-10-33, Tax Lot 104.

Testimony

Any person interested in this matter can submit written testimony in advance of the hearing to be considered by the Board of Commissioners during the hearing. Written testimony can be submitted in person at the Lincoln County Planning Department, or by emailing John O'Leary, Senior Planner, at joleary@co.lincoln.or.us., with “case file #02-ZC-PC-22” written in the subject line of the email, at least 24 hours prior to the hearing, or mailed by USPS to Lincoln County Planning Department, Attn: 02-ZC-22, 210 SW Second Street, Newport, OR 97365. Oral testimony can be provided remotely/electronically during the hearing, or in person during the hearing. Failure to raise an issue in writing, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the Board of Commissioners an opportunity to respond to the issue, precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue.
