Welcome
The services provided to qualifying Veterans of the Armed Forces in Lincoln County include, but are
not limited to, assisting Veterans and/or their dependants (including qualified, surviving spouses) with the
following:
- Service-connected disability claims/compensation
- Non service-connected disability claims/pension
- Surviving Spouse benefits
- Burial, Marker and Flag applications
- Dependant children benefits
- Education benefits
- Vocational Rehabilitation applications
- Locating military service/medical records
- Aid in upgrading the Veteran's disability percentage
- VA Medical Enrollment applications
- Prescription refill assistance

Veterans may now make appointments for medical care in Lincoln County.
The clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Appointments are required, since it is not a walk-in clinic, and it doesn’t
provide emergency care. The clinic is located in the Bridgeview Professional
Building at 1010 SW Highway 101.

Veterans who have not applied for health care benefits previously need to fill
out VA Form 10-10EZ. The information provided on the form will be used by VA to
determine your eligibility for medical benefits and on average will take 45
minutes to complete. This includes the time it will take to read instructions,
gather the necessary facts and fill out the form.
The VA form 10-10EZ may be acquired online at
http://www4.va.gov/vaforms or picked up
at the Lincoln County’s Veteran’s Service Office at 611 SW Hurbert Street, Suite
C in Newport. Office hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm (Closed: 12-1)

The Veteran Services Officer will advocate for Veterans and their family members to the Dept. of
Veteran Affairs to obtain the benefits they have earned through their service and sacrifice.
