Details of County Roads:

Three Rocks Road (6)

US 101 to Knight Park= 2.3 mi. It is fully paved, gentle terrain with moderate hills. Three Rocks Road leads to the County's Knight Park and to the Salmon River Estuary.

East Three Rocks Road (7)

Tillamook County / Lincoln County Line to US 101= 4 mi. Three Rocks Road and Old Scenic Highway 101 are fully paved. There is a steep hill with a summit of 700' near the Tillamook / Lincoln County line. This is one of the highest points on the Oregon Coast Bike Route. The Old Scenic Highway is somewhat longer than traveling modern US 101, but is much less trafficked.

North Bank Road (9)

Old Scenic Highway 101 to Highway 18 at milepost 5.2, (Otis) = 4 mi. North Bank Road is fully paved, and is level with a few slight hills. This road provides an alternate route to State Highway 18 or a loop of 9 mi. when combined with Highway 18.

East Devils Lake Road (10)

US 101 milepost 111, to US 101 at milepost 115.7 = 4 mi. This road is fully paved, gentle terrain with a few moderately steep, and short hilly sections. East Devils Lake Road provides a loop off of the busy US 101.

West Devils Lake Road (11)

US 101 mile post 112, to US 101 at milepost 114 = 2.5 mi. This is a fully paved road with mixed terrain and several hilly sections. West Devils Lake Road serves a residential area of Lincoln City, and is a popular route for access to two parks along the way.

Schooner Creek Road (12), Anderson Creek Road (13) and Drift Creek Road (14)

These three roads form a loop that by-passes US 101 from milepost 118 to milepost 119. This route is about 4 mi. in length and is level with one hill on Anderson Creek Road.

Yaquina Bay Road (15)

Newport to Toledo = 12 mi. The Yaquina Bay Road is paved for its entire length and is very level except for one hill on the Toledo side. (milepost 11.3 to 12.3). This road is a scenic alternate, from the stretch of US 20 from Newport to Toledo.

Logsden Road (16), (17)

From Siletz to Logsden = 8 mi. West Logsden Road is fully paved, in some places it has narrow gravel shoulders. The road is level with moderate hills between mileposts 2-3. The west portion of this road provides access to Lincoln County's Moonshine Park, which is one if the most popular in Lincoln County. From Logsden to Nashville on the east part of the road is 14 mi. It is mostly paved with gravel sections, and has very steep inclines over Nash Mountain. This part of the road is only recommended for strong, capable cyclists.

Elk City Road (18), (19)

FromToledo Business Loop to Elk City = 8.5 mi. Between Elk City and Toledo, the road is fully paved. In the first two miles south of Toledo, the road is hilly with an elevation of 200 feet at milepost one. The rest of the road is gentle, following the river to Elk City. Cannon Quarry and Elk City Parks are located along this route. Past Elk City Park, the road is gravel and narrow and is only suitable for mountain bicycles.

Moonshine Park Road (20)

Logsden to Lincoln County's Moonshine Park = 4mi. The road is fully paved and has narrow gravel shoulders in places. The terrain is generally flat. In combination with West Logsden Road, Moonshine Park Road provides access to Lincoln County's Moonshine Park.

North Beaver Creek Road (21), South Beaver Creek Road (22), Bayview Road (23)

From US 101 at milepost 146, to US 101 at milepost 154.8 = 8.5 mi. North Beaver is mostly level, South Beaver and Bayview are hilly with short steep sections. Bayview Road has scenic views of Alsea Bay.

Lint Slough (24), Crestline Drive(25), Wakonda Beach Road (26)

From State Hwy 34 in Waldport, to US 101 at milepost 159 = 4 mi. These three roads range in paved width from 20' to 22'. Crestline Drive is steep between Waldport High School and Bay Street. The other sections have moderate terrain.

Yachats River Road (27)

From US 101 in Yachats, milepost 163, to the Linn/Lincoln County Line = 10.5 mi. Yachats River Road is fully paved, and follows the river with gentle terrain. There are some short hilly sections. The end of this road turns into Forest Service Road 5590. There is a covered bridge at the north fork of Yachats River apx. 2 mi. off of Yachats River Road.

Eckman Creek Road (28)

From State Hwy 34 milepost 2.62, to end of Eckman Creek Road = 1.5 mi. This road is fully paved and has some short moderate hills. The end of this road turns into Forest Service Road 53. There is a State Park near the beginning of the road, on Hwy 34 at milepost 2.3. Eckman Lake on the west side of the road, wildlife can be seen daily here.

Forest Service Road 53 (29)

From the end of Eckman Creek Road to the end of Yachats River Road = 15 mi. This road is paved/gravel with a width of 12' on most places. There are many moderate to steep hilly sections. This section of road is only suitable for mountain bicycles and strong capable cyclists.
