Building Division

Any new construction, or any addition, alteration or repair to an existing building requires a building permit. Wiring, plumbing and mechanical installations such as furnaces and wood stoves also require the issuance of appropriate permits before the work is performed. Once work is underway, permit holders are required to call for inspection of the work at various stages of the project.

The Building Division issues permits and performs inspections for all of unincorporated Lincoln County and for the cities of Depoe Bay, Siletz, Toledo, Waldport and Yachats.
