UDAP - Spring 2007 Currently,
Oregon 8th graders' use of alcohol is 80.5% higher than the national
average!
Seventeen percent of alcohol sold in The Underage Drinking Awareness Project (UDAP) is an innovative creation of Lincoln County, the Lincoln County School District, and the Northwest Film Center.
UDAP is based on a model
originally developed by the Oregon Partnership (our statewide prevention
coalition) and the UDAP combines education with the art of film
making. So far, sponsors of UDAP include: Lincoln County Health & Human Services Department, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, County Counsel's Office, Lincoln County School District, South Lincoln Ambulance/Yachats Volunteer Fire Department, Pacific West Ambulance, and Congresswoman Darlene Hooley. Stay tuned for more developments!
