Jack Morgan ParkA Lincoln County Park
Park DescriptionJack Morgan Park and Campground is eleven acres located along both sides of the State Hwy 229. On the west side of the Hwy there is an asphalt boat ramp into the Siletz River, concrete vault restrooms, and a picnic area with tables. Fishing for Chinook and Steelhead on this section of the Siletz River is popular. The west side of the park is day use only with no fee. Camping FacilitiesAccess to the campground is on the east side of the Highway. Camping areas are private and woodsy along Hough Creek. Each of the 13 campsites are complete with a picnic table, fireplace/barbeque pit, and potable water is available nearby. The camping area is sheltered by a canopy of spruce trees above. A volunteer camp host is on site March through November. BOATING RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE AT JACK MORGAN PARKNo jet pump boats are allowed up the Siletz River past Jack Morgan Park. Park ImprovementsRecent improvements have made significant changes to the camping area. A new loop road has been constructed, and the development of the water system is complete. The most recent improvement is the installation of a new restroom.
