Knight ParkA Lincoln County Park
Park DescriptionKnight Park is a two acre park located at the mouth of the Salmon River. This park has the only public boat launch for the Salmon River, and is highly used by boaters, kayaks, and canoes. Knight Park is also used by locals, and tourists attracted to the Nature Conservancy Cascade Head hiking trail, Camp Westwind (YWCA) and the US Forest Service, Cascade Head Research Scenic Area. Parking for the Cascade Head Nature Conservatory is available. BOATING RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE AT KNIGHT PARKJet pump drive prohibited above Hwy 101 bridge. Motors greater that 15 hp prohibited upstream from river mile 3, approximately 3/4 mile west of Hwy 101 bridge. Park ImprovmentsLincoln County Parks in cooperation with the Oregon State Marine Board and Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife recently completed improvements to the park. Improvements included a new boat launch with boarding floats, adding a single car parking lot and parking for boat trailers.
