Grants Improve Our Parks
The Parks Department continues to submit grant applications made available
through several agencies.
The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners recently accepted a Marine Board Grant
for the construction of a boat ramp located on the Siletz River. The project
includes development of a new County park, with restrooms and parking, as well
as the boat launch and floats. Construction to begin this spring, and should be
completed by September.
The Oregon Parks Campground Opportunity Grant provided funds for improvements to the Moonshine Park water
system, and for improvements to the Jack Morgan Campground. These grant dollars improve to a great extent, park
conditions in Lincoln County.
