Park Description

Ichwhit (Bear) Park is located on the Siletz River approximately river mile 6.7 (within tidal influence.)

The newest addition to Lincoln County, Ichwhit Park was constructed utilizing funds from multiple grant sources. The Oregon State Marine Board, ODFW, Federal Sport Fish Restoration Funds, along with Lincoln County worked cooperatively to provide the public access to the Siletz River.  

Park Improvements

New Facilities include a new boat ramp, boarding floats, vault toilet, parking for boat trailers and passenger vehicles. New sidewalks, curbing, and lighting enhance the safety features at this new park.

DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy 229 from Hwy 101 at Kernville (just south of Lincoln City)Ichwhit Park is just located 5.75 upriver on the west side of the Hwy.
