Parents as Teachers

Our Vision:

All children will develop, learn, and grow to realize their full potential.

Our Mission:

Parents as Teachers promotes the optimal early development, learning and health of children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers.

What is Parents as Teachers?

An evidence-based early childhood program that provides education and support for parents and caregivers through home visiting and class activities. It empowers and builds skills in parents and caregivers to serve as their child's first teacher. It is designed to help parents learn more about parenting, support their child's development, and help with the challenges of parenting.

Our parent educators work with parents and caregivers from birth until age four to promote early development and help get children ready for school.

Participation is voluntary and there is no cost.
