Let us know you are interested and we will set you up with a nurse in your area! We have offices in Newport and Lincoln City.

What is Nurse Family Partnership (NFP)?

Nurse Family Partnership provides support for first time pregnant moms in Lincoln County. The nurses meet their clients wherever is most convenient for them and schedule appointments that work with their client's schedule. NFP nurses offer support, education, and resources to help moms through pregnancy and for the first 2 years of their child's life! Visits adjust to the client's needs and to the age of your infant/child. The nurses are up to date on the latest research on child development; physical, social, mental, and verbal. THE PROGRAM IS FREE AND VOLUNTARY!

  • Height and weight measurements
  • Teaching activities to do with your child to support their development
  • Connecting to other resources in the community
  • Lactation consulting
  • Labor and delivery training
  • Prenatal care


Meet Our Nurses!

Donna is a registered nurse and has worked for LCHHS for 30 years doing a variety of home visits for mothers and new babies! She enjoys the freedom being in someone's home gives families to be themselves and openly talk about challenges, successes, and ask their questions. She enjoys meeting families where they are.

In her spare time Donna takes care of her physical, emotional, and spiritual needs by gardening, reading, exercising, taking mindful moments, and enjoying the company of friends and family.

Amy is passionate about supporting families to be as physically and emotionally healthy as possible. Amy is a registered nurse and has worked in Early Childhood Development for over 20 years and has been a Maternal Child Health home visiting nurse for 4  years.

In her spare time, Amy has also been involved in the commercial fishing industry as a fishing family and raised 5 children here on the Oregon Coast. She believes that families are the experts in their own life and uses that approach to support pregnant and parenting women to reach their health and life goals.


Michelle is grateful to have the opportunity every day in her position at LCHHS to touch the lives of growing families. She enjoys being able to offer support, education, and resources that her clients desire and need. Michelle has a variety of experience in Maternal Child Services as a registered nurse which she is extremely passionate about and devoted to.

In her free time Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and two wonderful children, exploring the outdoors, and expressing herself artistically.
