Wayne
has been County
Counsel
for Lincoln
County since 1987, having been hired by the County in 1986 as Assistant County
Counsel. Wayne
serves as general legal counsel to all officials and departments of Lincoln
County, with primary focus on policy development and implementation.

Wayne's primary clients are the Board of Commissioners, the Planning Department,
the Human Services Department, the Finance Department, the Facilities Division
of the Public Works Department, the Surveyor's Office, and the IT
Department. Wayne also provides legal counsel services to a number of
other intergovernmental entities in which Lincoln County is a participant,
including the Solid Waste District, the Solid Waste Consortium, and the the
Lincoln County Communications Agency (LinCom). |
